My friend has clocked little over 19000 rpm from his ESP modified and ported 30.5. He has Nomadio Sensor gear and tach sensor installed. The speed readings are confirmed with radar gun so the rpm figures should be also there more or less.

I have no real idea what my reed ported 28.5 revs/revved since I got no tach,(yet.. ) and the engine is currently drying from little dip.. But by from it sounded, even a little more than that.

The banner is pointing out the number 5, 5th scale...

These engines stock I believe run around 12,000 but under load I don't know if they will reach that.

even at 12, 000 rpm that is still something awesome

that's 200 revs per second !!! (I got a calculator for christmas and I knew it would come in useful some day) and that is some piece of engineering in such a small lump

Under load I believe you can take off a good 1500 to 2000 R's.

I do belive that these motors turn a little more then 12,000, a stock weed eater should be turning around 12,000. With the advanced timing that these motors run we should be seening around 15,000 to 16,000.
