Thread: New look for now

  1. #1 Default New look for now
Spent all day working on the Baja. Had to fix my rear axle extenders and did a bunch of tinkering including cutting out this body I had painted and went with the silver wing. Looks pretty good.

That is the Zenoah ESP 27.2 with DDM Dominator. I also have the billet aluminum flywheel cover on that motor.

Well I got the DS extenders and lost the pins for them due to not having them taped around once. So I was using bolts to hold them on and the power of the 27.2 kept snapping them. The holes got elongated and I had to drill out a bolt that was broken off inside and then re-round the holes, put the original pins that DS sent me back in and then the set screw blue loc tited and then electrical tape around as another safety precaution to keep them from falling out again. Was a pain to say the least but now I will be able to run and not worry. Then I cut out the new body (first one I ever did) and cleaned the whole bug up good and changed the air filter to ready it for tomorrow's maiden bash at the new spot.
