You could build a light bulb discharger, but not sure on the current draw on these batteries... So my guess would be just hook up 1 light bulb (I'll find you the bulb number) You will want to discharge the battery at about the same rate that it gets discharged running in the buggy.

Use 1157 light bulbs just like this

    draining battery?

The problem with these it that if you don't pull the batts off before the lights go out you can reverse the cells and wreck your pack.

The other option is to buy a 4200 NiMah battery. You don't need to discharge them near as often or at all if you don't care too much.

If you search Tower Hobbies website. You can find Chargers that will discharge the batteries, before it charges them. Some chargers will have a trickle charge feature, so you can leave the batteries on the charger and they will not over charge.

Yes sir, that's why I bought a Novak.

You know it's bad when you're siphoning gas from the baja so you can get to work.........

Clayton, I built something like that..But mine is only a 2 bulb setup and is perfect for the 4200 pack...I just let them discharge(why I do not know since i have the ice charger) and then recharge per the recommend charge rate and I can always get 4500 in my 4200 pack:eek:....And I do not have the DDM one etiher.. I have the original Promatch racing.....

yeah 10 bulbs could be seen as too much draw... they say you want to drain the batteries at the same amp draw as they would see in the application.
