i was just wondering what you guys think about the K&N air filter you can buy (http://www.davesmotors.com/store/product10.html) for the Baja and is it worth it or should i just stay with the stock filter

stick with stock filter unless you want to upgrade your motor! Stock filter with outerwears on it can not be beat!

I agree with Akela, the only other thing you can do if you must have an upgrade is put on a red neck filter. Basicly the same thing as stock.

K&N never actually made a filter for off-road use. That should tell us something. Gauze filters are useless with dirt and dust. Hold a K&N up to the light and you will see light coming through. Those are all the places that dust flows through. Stick with oiled foam. The stock filter with a redneck outer filter will give you 3 stages of oiled foam. About as good as it gets.

I wouldnt use a K&N on my lawnmower..............
