WOTting on parking lot. Nothing too special.

My L needle was way off as you can hear. The other baja is Karg's. He's driving ESP 30.5. He is yet to find his way on this forum..

They weren't bald! :o Spikes were worn about half way. They ripped from the beadlocks. :( I have destroyded 8 sets of stock baja rear tires that way. Never worn out. Always ripped.

Now I use FG tires and they seem to be able to take just about any kind of punishement. 30 tanks in and now they start to show some kind of wear. They're not ripping or anything. Just slowly (very slowly) wearing out. That's it. I think they got some 20-30 tanks in them still.

And that's what RC tires should be. Painless.

how is the traction with the FG tires? on road, off road? thinking of using them for bashing but wouldn't be much fun if i had low traction in the dirt.

Traction is somewhat interesting.. FG tires have sharper shoulder so they tend to bury in sand when cornering hard. Cornering hard I mean WOT and full steering lock.. It's possible to flip baja with these tires on loose sand. But that takes some effort.

I have other post on this thread in which there's 2 bajas both using these FG tires. We drove in big sand pit which is closest thing to dunes we have here.

I also have a post on 'ask HPI' thread conserning better tires. There can be seen how they behave on tarmac. Never mind my worthless driving.. I tried to break those tires on purpose. That's why all the doughnuts.

I'd say FG tires have little less traction on any surface compared to HPI tires. Not really good for anything, but you can use them everywhere. Good all-round tires IMO.
