Thread: Baja Wish List - Tell me yours.........

  1. #1 Question Baja Wish List - Tell me yours.........
    runwreckrepair Guest
    Hi guys

If you had a wish list for mods and hop ups for a Baja, what would be on the list.........................

No prizes for the best list, just want to do the right thing with my new Baja and the best way is to ask you guys who have already been there and done it and then combine the results and take the project further, cash depending

Bring it on but promise not to tell the wifey

    First I'd start with these.
    #1 Pre-filter and starter cover.
    #2 Metal servo gears
    #3 Rear wheel extenders.
Then I'd go for an aftermarket exhaust of some type. I've tried the X can, The TGN Pipe, and The DDM Pipe. Of the two, for bashing I'd go with Either the X can or the DDM Pipe. The TGN is just a little to top heavy for my likeing. But you may very well like it. It does perform well!
I'd also keep an extra set of shock shafts on hand, just incase they bend on you.

    They look shweet...............

Must admit, i was not too impressed with the standard shocks, they don't seem to be up to the job and a few buddies have commented on the poor quality, i will soon find out for myself

Do you run with shock socks on, i notice that some do and some don't ....

Sometimes, usually when it's muddy or sandy. Less cleaning of the shocks that way!
