    Hi every one just got the Baja I love it best rc experience i ever had but I do have one question may be a stupid one but still I will ask it after I ran my first tank through it I went to clean the air filter the user manual says to use several drops of air filter oil on the filter how many is several :confused: how can I tell if I have put enough on it. just want protect my investment the Baja is pricey and I just want to make sure I do every thing right any advice can help thank you

    Outerwears prefilter over the stock filter and you can get away with several outings without cleaning your filter. Just remember to NOT install the pin that holds the end cap on it will tear the prefilter.

    Hi Shortfuse, welcome to the forum. I agree with Mlocker, a good prefilter like the outerwares is the way to go. Get one for the air filter and the pullstart. It also help to keep water out too!

    i all ready have the pull starter prefilter and it is amazing how much it helps keep the pull starter clean

    I'm using red neck also, and mine fits over. I ordered mine from O'Niell brothers. It's a nice snug fit and keeps me from cleaning the filter as often.

    if you own an outerwears prefilter don't wash them with soap and water. the soap will deteriorate the water resistant cover. outerwears sells a biodegradeable wash that will maintain the water seal and clean out all the tiny dust particles.
