Under my transmisson case theres a seem that you can see from under the baja and there a small amount of oil residue.
the dust stick to it but its very little oil.
do i have to open and see how much oil as gone out of the differentiel?
can those diff survive long without oil in them?
    thanks.

They can survive but it wouldnt hurt to pull it apart and fill it up since it comes with too little oil to function as a viscous diff like it should.

That residue "could" be from grease that is flung off of the main gear.

I agree with Mlocker. Make sure the diff is filled up properly. I blew my diff, because I didn't check it. The residue on the bottom is likely just some grease coming through.
