Carson (Smartech) is on the way with a 4WD Gasser with 3 diffs and Shaft Drive.

Here is a link to info from the largest German Largescale dealer(Hobbythek): http://www.rc-car-online.de/htstarteng.htm

Hobbythek is mantioning an RTR price of € 900 inkl. Tax (aprox US$ 1125 with tax and US$ 950 without tax)

Here is a link to the Smartech info, but in the Usual Chinese style, text isn't exactly accurate... (They write 2WD)

Here are some pictures, borrowed from the Hobbythek Site:

I like the looks of this! May end up picking one up when they come out if the price stays around the same, lots cheaper then the MCD

At approx US$ 950 ex. Tax RTR it sure has a sweet price.

I am hoping they come with one without electronincs, as I want to use my Sensor on this one. I also have a couple of spare servos laying somewhere....

And if the one wihout electronics could end up at US$ 800, then I will considder it a MUST have, at least for me.

Friends has been at the Nurnberg Toy Fair and they have seen it live, it looks good but Carson, isn't well known for good quality but we will see. At the moment I would say that the MCD is the better choice in quality.

RTR price Hobbythek 900,-- €, MCD Baja 4WD 1250,--€, I know it's more but does it make sense to save money first and put 400 or 500 Euro more in option parts to make it reliable ? However, we have to wait a bit more to see, maybe the Carson concept works out, then I didn't say anything .
