When can we expect to get our hands on those h compound rears and fronts. Plus when can we expect some better tires period.

H compound on the rear is going to cause a lot of squirreliness due to the decrease in traction. Unless you're going for a drift Baja. :p

As for the front tires, if you want to take off a bit of oversteer, we've got the h compound for those (Just released this month).

They're out of stock right now, but shops have probably already put them on order.

    Hope that helps.

What about a medium for the rears? Not too hard, but soft enough to bite!

How about rears, that won't annihilate after 2 tanks?

    Better tires.

Worry about the grip or compounds later. Just a thought.

This is what decently designed/build RC car tires should be able to take. JMHO.

    http://www.kolumbus.fi/~w461457/Cittari_220407.wmv (45MB)

I drove over an hour and a half.

I know that if tires have spikes on them, they wear fast on tarmac. These haven't, so comparison against baja's original tires is not fair at some levels. It doesn't change the fact that I'll break baja's original tires after 2-3 tanks where I drive. (not all people drive on grass or in Sahara you know) I drive on loose sand. There's also some rough gravel.

My receiver battery was almost dead when we shot this vid. So if my driving looks stupid and clumsy, it's no ALL my fault..

This is just a heads up for those people who think that it's ok to make 1/5 RC car tires out of surgical cloves..

Last weekend those tires turned into their 30th tank. At the moment they look like this:

    Better tires.
