    Around 40mph.
It doesn't seem what pipe or engine the speed doesn't change all that much but the acceleration does.

I would think that a good race ported motor and a good pipe should jump you to around mid to high 40's. That being said, the motor is going to have to be turning around 23,000 rpms. Most the motors we use see no where near these crazy rpms. So most of us will be running around 40, give or take.

What gears and tires are they running?
Someone needs to do the math to find what rpms you have to turn to get 50mph with diffrent gearing

I'm not 100% sure, but I know they are running the tarmac busters , a modified Zen 26 top end kit, a modifed boat pipe and most proubably runnung the RRP top end gears. They are drag racing and have gotton above 18,000RPM's in car. They are doing 2.63 sec at 50MPH in 132 feet which is 1/8th mile for the baja(10th scale quarter mile).

Well Carlos the guy doing it is the best zenoah 26 modifier in this country ,well in the world for that matter, because he holds a world record in boats at above 102MPH with a Zen 26 marine version.

When we have big boat races down here in the South people come from all over the country, big names all backed by large manufactres, only to get their A$$ handed to them by our top guys and Carlos builds all their motor and he usally has more tricks up his sleeves that he hasn't let out yet.

yeah and a boat has a prop in the water which is 10 times more load than rolling across the ground and has to tun that prop without the aid of a gearbox and has to lud a big hull thru the water and air. We will see what he does with the baja because he is speed running it as we type, but he is the only guy I know that has a baja doing back flips on launch.
